The next piece I am going to talk about in our FW17 Collection is Odessa. This is one of my favorite pieces in the Collection. I found Odessa to be a really fun, enjoyable knit that worked up pretty quickly.
Odessa is worked in the round from the bottom up, starting with a rolled hem and a 1 x 1 ribbing, with 1 strand of Birch and 1 strand of Pebble held together throughout. Short-row shaping creates a curved hemline. At the armholes, work is divided for front and back and worked flat to the shoulders. Garter stitch armhole edgings are formed by casting on stitches at the armhole, which are then turned in and seamed. A rolled collar is picked up and worked in the round.
The combination of Birch and Pebble is amazing. The resulting fabric is soft and light and the flecking of the Pebble gives it extra depth and interest. This piece was probably the easiest one I have ever blocked. It practically blocked itself.

I have actually completed an Odessa for myself and plan to make at least one more. I really enjoy wearing this piece and you can layer it or not, depending on your mood and the weather.
